Top 5 things not to miss at Ayana Resort and Spa Bali

 Ayana is a beautiful resort in Bali which is always in ones’ bucket list and is undeniably one of the soothing place to be . Having being numbered 87 in world’s best resorts list, this place is luxury at its peak. We decided to check in our bucket list to enjoy the quietude of this startling place. There is so much to explore within the resort. They have some 12 amazing swimming pools, 19 odd restaurants serving cuisine tastes from all over the world. What we found amazing was that the head chef at one of the restaurants was an Indian and he made sure we enjoy our food at best. This was my second visit to the place and still I feel its unexplored. I decided to make a list of 5 not to miss things one should do when  in Ayana

1.The Infinity Pool

There are more than 12 swimming pools in the resorts vicinity, but serenity of infinity pool with the view of the never ending ocean is breathtaking. This is almost the first view when you enter the hotel. The swimming pool bar attached to it serving cocktails in the midst is restful at the peak. The first thing I did in both my visits was to jump into the pool and enjoy the perfect temperature of the water, the beach and the drinks.

2. The Rock Bar Cafe

Ever dined at the edge of rock! A thrilling experience with the beautiful sunset at the beach, right in front of you. This  place is situated right across the infinity pool which gives access to everyone living in the resort or not. The soothing music, the lively place and the candles at the table. Showcasing unparalleled views from 14 meters above the Indian Ocean, Rock Bar is accessible via AYANA’s dramatic cliff side inclinator. The experience of the sun set from rock bar café is spectacular. Featuring a glamorous sunset vibe, and a seductive after-dark ambience, rock bar is second on my not to miss lists.

3. The Private Kubu Beach

The private Kubu beach is the next level, white sands and the waters at your feet along with beach club set up in form of cabanas adds to the experience .The thought of a private beach in itself is enduring. The beach has its own serene. The white sand and the blue water makes this ultimate nature concoction. This time they had an added beach club with cabanas makes the relaxing mode on at a pinch.

4. UNIQUE Rooftop Bar

UNIQUE rooftop bar contemporary design is based around an inviting central bar and 25 meter infinity-edge pool  with floating cushion seats that faces one of Bali’s most captivating sunsets. Multi-leveled seating provides panoramic 360-degree views from any location. We decided to give it a try and it turned out to be the most refreshing thing. The selfie station added to the fun. The place lived upto its name. We enjoyed the drinks by the pool side with view to die for and to add was the delicious Mexican food.

5. The Aquatonic Pool

The Aquatonic Pool at Bali thalasso spa contains 700 million liters of water directly supplied from the underlying Indian Ocean and warmed to optimum temperatures to rebalance mineral deficiencies along with underwater massage. This was definitely in the list as we wanted to explore the high point of spa . It was something which was very new and distinctive and deserved full time. The experience was really amazing. With more than 100 water jets this unique spa gave us ultimate bliss.

Well there is more to explore, as the resort is spread in thousands square feet, every minute explored detail is less. Now, pack your bags, enjoy your happy staying.
